Canadian Electric Vehicles (canEV) is a Vancouver Island based manufacturer of electric work trucks and EV powertrain systems. We are looking for enthusiastic people of all experience and education levels to join our growing company for the following position:

• Product Specialist

Canadian electric vehicles (canEV) is looking for someone that is keenly interested in EV conversions to become a Product Specialist. We are looking for someone who’s hands on, if you have grown up wrenching on your own vehicles, working with electronics, 3D printing, building

RC models or just generally taking things apart and putting them back together we want to hear from you. We will train the right candidate in new skills such as product knowledge, customer service, managing inventory and shipping stuff.

At canEV daily tasks are ever changing, from painting, assembling products, packing and shipping orders, to wiring, helping pull engines, service work and whatever else comes our way.

Knowing how to use a computer, hand tools and a multimeter is a must and everything else we will provide training for the right person. Don't get too fussy with the perfect resume, we are more interested in past projects and hobbies and your motivation to work with us.

Skills:

• Must be able to work with computer software, lists, drawings, and diagrams
• Must be careful in handling parts to maintain a “new” finish
• Must be detail oriented and interested in learning how to “do it right”
• Must be self motivated to learn about EV conversion products and the industry

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $35,000.00-$95,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Commission pay

• Parksville, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
